To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 今日好開心同屋企人去咗荃灣西附近一間燒肉店，一間都係好出名，超級多分店的燒肉店，牛哥，如果住荃灣嘅朋友，一定要來試吓呢一間啊，佢位置都好方便㗎荃灣西落車，附近有好多個商場，呢一間都係行大概三至4分鐘就搵到呢間餐廳，而且空間好大，好瞓啦，非常之適合你班朋友嚟聚會，慶祝生日嘅地方啊，呢一間牛角已經好出名燒肉，佢哋嘅食物牛肉嘅質素真係好高，而且最出名嘅係紫菜撈蛋飯，真係好好食，因為仲有一大碗，真係配襯埋啲肉真係好夾呀，而且佢哋嘅服務質素都好好，全部侍應都好有笑容，好有親切咁，我覺得喺度食飯真係好開心好舒服啊，唔知係私人空間㗎，枱枱之間都有好大嘅距離，所以唔會覺得擠迫，而且食物都好快送上，餐牌裏面都有唔同嘅肉選擇，一啲都唔會單調，驚喜，每部份嘅牛肉都好好食，所以我覺得呢一間同其他店唔同住附近嘅人一定要試吓牛角啊
