友人D約食飯,選的是土耳其菜,這可是四月的第一次嚐試,完全沒有idea到底是吃什麼,腦海只聯想到搞笑的土耳其浴畫面。晚上19:30來到,才知道店子其實就是位於我常常過來買相紙的那幢商廈之中。小店環境比較昏暗,很有異國情調,雖然面積不大,只能坐十五六人,但氣氛很好,播放的土耳其音樂令人很想跟着扭動身體去跳舞。這兒主打私房菜,聽友人說,訂位時除了交代基本資料,還要知道客人的預算、食材的喜歡,以及能否接受貓。跟大部份無菜單料理一樣,這兒沒有menu和固定價錢,菜式設計視乎當日購入的材料,每位大約$150~$350不等。甫坐下來,被一個黑影檔在我前面問我要喝什麼,抬頭一望,覺得眼前的外籍店主有點眼熟,然後驚覺他曾經在《我要做老闆》的節目中出現。在土耳其咖啡和紅石榴汁之間,我選了後者。銀匙上釀的紅寶石,跟桃紅色的石榴汁互相輝映,這個液體的顏色令人想起兒時的四方果啫喱。入口味道帶點人工化,甜味比酸味突出。要注意的是銀器傳熱非常快,如果太心急用手拿小匙,可能會一級燙傷(笑)。店主先端來一盤沙律,接着鎮店的土耳其香草蕃茄烤雞便送來了。這隻雞的體型還真像火雞,用了多種香料焗2小時,挺花工夫,因此要預訂。
