To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 七年以黎每天返工或放工都必經荃灣轉車毎星期必定最少兩日在此用餐,因為呢度嘅粉麵質數平穩,至愛嘅係五香牛雜同埋牛腩,由於工作關係,多數係幫襯佢嘅午夜粉麵茶餐,順帶—提,呢度嘅宵夜時段收費係貴幾蚊嘅牛腩,嚴格黎講應該叫清湯腩,顏色似白鹵咁,清香軟諗,但食唔到有五香味牛雜麵:件頭最多嘅係金錢肚約有五舊(食得出係同其他雜類係分開煮嘅,有好重嘅元茜籽味)、牛肺兩粒、牛腸約有三舊(粉腸至正)、牛膀—塊(超簿型)、麵質爽口彈牙湯底:好清,唔算太多油,每次出單前都會溝小平殼牛雜汁加清湯,而味道則只試過有六、七次要放盐,算唔錯架喇,湯頭偏甜少少而問題就係最近兩次光顧雜麵,碗內嘅牛膀都帶有酸"叔"味,—入囗馬上吐出,自此以後就再無幫襯喇咖啡、茶都係淡而無味而最唔鐘意嘅就係收銀員必定係面無笑容及每次找錢都係放起收銀台上之白色付咒上,令人感覺極度不安(可能係公司規定吧,大家不防留意下吧午夜茶餐跟凍飲38
