To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 我一向都覺得太多興麻麻地,野唔特別好食,價錢又唔係平,好多大排檔小炒都好食過佢適逢今晚外母大人想食,小弟當然要奉陪啦太興係馬鞍山廣場,日本城的對面,餐廳長條型,主要卡位多,但都算闊坐得OK舒服。二話不說打開餐牌,一野就望到Iron Man(Eric Kwok),野食有好多都減左價,有驚喜!我地叫左三個Share食,要留意價錢只係個餸,同埋飯同飲野要加$19。京都洋蔥豬扒(($66) 甜酸汁非常好味,甜味較多酸味較少,非常開胃!菠蘿酸酸的,加埋個汁剛好起中和的作用,主角豬扒切成細細片,容易入口,肉質好嫩滑,完全無韌,但似是用醃料"啦"過嗰種,但整體是OK的!牛柳絲濕炒($58) 全晚我覺得呢個最抵食,我只係話價錢,至於質素..河粉用瑞士汁炒,汁味的確好濃,但汁濃反而帶點咸,扣左少少分。牛柳絲幾嫩,份量都唔少。整碟意粉最大問題係啲河粉,炒燶左,一路食一路有聞燶味,令整碟都變得唔好食。北菇豆腐青衣魚ck($76),呢個係全晚之最,全晚最差!一打開蓋,無北菇既?豆腐有三舊,魚柳都有三舊,話晒$76,唔係咁少咁求其呀嘛?頂唔順搵左個Waiter講,之後幫我換,換左多返啲...不過好咸,魚柳無可否
