To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 翠華選擇多,質素有保證,去土包還做嘢順便同同事食個靚lunch,普通茶餐廳客飯焗飯、米線、鐵板餐樣樣都好吸引,仲全新推出咗手打檸檬茶秘制海南雞飯 $75 轉雞脾 +$10海南雞飯午餐包咗餐湯同油飯,係蓮藕中式例湯,唔係東南亞嗰隻冬瓜雞湯,呢點幾有驚喜。加咗$10轉雞髀,件件啖啖肉好嫩滑鐵板黑椒鴛鴦扒配薯菜 $73鴛鴦有豬又有牛,配大大份燒汁意粉好飽肚,當然肉質唔會話好上乘,但$73真係唔話得好抵食,仲跟個羅宋湯超滿足,凍飲加$3 ,叫咗凍檸茶,茶底唔澀提神又好飲瑞士汁雞翼(五隻) $65見佢$15/隻都知唔係咁簡單,果然係連埋雞翼尖,份量多又夠入味,香濃得來唔會太鹹,兩個人share加餸啱啱好手打芭樂檸檬茶 $25雖然市面上感覺熱潮已過,但食茶餐廳飲番杯大大杯手打檸檬茶都係好爽!大大杯充滿碎冰同芭樂果粒,甜甜地檸檬好香
