香港人喜歡打邊爐,包括我,只要有時間都會邊一邊爐,由大眾化的快餐店還是高檔食府都總有邊爐,今次有人極強烈希望到上品打邊爐。話這間店遠近馳名,於是大家約了食九點半。皆因有折扣,仲會剩幾舊。 等了半小時一行五人終於可以入席,立即叫了一個清湯和四川麻辣湯湯底。一碟日本櫻花牛刺身,一客象手拔蚌刺身,元貝刺身。我第一次食牛刺身,味道比想像好,肉味鮮而血腥味少,最重要是牛肉冇渣,肉纖維不會因為咀嚼而留在牙縫,再來是元貝刺身和象拔蚌刺身,刺身還算新鮮,象拔蚌肉質爽脆而味清甜,完全沒有腥味 以一間火煱店而言有如此品質的刺身已經唔錯。朋友食過兩塊牛肉,胃口開始大,再叫一碟日本櫻花牛刺身,一個海鮮拼盤,一個泰式蝦刺身撈,一個蝦滑,流沙墨魚丸,西班牙黑毛豬,安格斯肥牛,還有其他雜物。最令我難以忘懷的是海鮮拼盤上的魚,肉片已經被片來,放在冰上,魚鰓還會開合,見者都唔忍心食這魚,但魚片已割,人已餓,都顧不到太多,當然,味覺上會告訴你食魚片是正確選擇,因為不只魚片,其他海鮮都新鮮,上湯煮過所有海鮮後,這個湯比市面上的什麼靚湯來得好。這時放一支竹笙吸收湯汁,再食竹笙,這支竹笙真是無得輸 。所以打邊爐無竹笙是失

並不是所有食物適合做火煱材料,例如小籠包,我們叫了一客小籠包,其實上品的小籠包是皮薄,但是放進滾湯竹不久後外皮已經爛了,餡料巳經成為湯料一部分。另外還有流沙墨魚丸,我喜歡墨魚丸,但鹹蛋黃味或多或少影響墨魚丸鮮味


最重要是打邊爐是三五成群,人多至好玩。
