To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 尖沙咀翠園裝修後,終於重新開幕。靚左同時貴左。menu上指所有菜式選用健康米糠油和不添加味精。前菜是牛耳 ($25)脆脆的,非常新鮮好吃。黑金流沙包 ($38)非常精美嘅一道點心,黑得好靚,反映出金光閃閃嘅感覺。包是黑但無特別味道,但包身鬆軟好吃,流沙奶皇非常流質,一咬就流出來,蛋黃味濃。叉燒酥 ($38)酥脆好味,叉燒多過醬,真材實料。甫魚燒賣($45)高級魚肉燒賣,魚肉彈牙清甜唔油膩。大大隻鮮蝦圈在燒賣上,再加上蟹籽,好味。車仔豬腸粉($40)開頭以為係特別菜式所以點左。上菜嚇一跳,絕對係俾遊客用。還原度高,仲配埋竹籤。麻醬很香,腸粉冧左d,整體好味,只是相對平日食開嘅太貴了。醬油安格斯牛肉炒飯 ($138)醬油味道很香而不會太咸,飯炒得粒粒分明,醬油平均包圍飯粒。唯一傷心係牛肉太細粒,吃唔太出。肉絲炒麵 ($118)麵是脆窩形式,非常香脆。配上肉絲醬汁,脆中又有點軟下嘅麵,口感相當好。比裝修前好味,但貴左。
