Restaurant: Jashan Celebrating Indian Cuisine

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 我對印度美食一直情有獨鍾,不時會走過去食印度式buffet。Jashan位於荷李活道,我已經光顧多年,最吸我的,就是它的午市自助餐,138元一位(另收加一),包括一杯飲品(每次來到,都必選Mango Lassi),在幽靜環境下食一頓印度美食,順便對人生作盤點反思,十分值得花這樣的金錢去享受!今次光顧最欣賞的,反而是侍應的主動和親切的服侍;美食方面,特別推薦入座後不久奉上的Paper Dosa,是著名的南印度小食,用米紙包著薯仔,配上Sambar和椰子醬料,十分好味。屈指一算,原來已數個月沒有到過這處光顧了,但食物質素和服務始終如一,都是優質的。值得有空時再次光顧!
