To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 聘珍樓在觀塘扎根多年,因為位置原因很少在此用餐,今日偶爾到此才得知長者平日飲茶有9折優惠。餐廳很大,餐枱也多,相信假日也未必要排隊等候。鳳眼餃的頂部以一片綴以蟹籽的薄帶子封蓋,餡料以蝦仁為主,相比蝦餃,鳳眼餃的短處便是餃皮不夠韌性。上湯鮮竹卷不過不失,盅內有很多魚肚令點心增添不少口感。因為牛油果之名,所以點選此點心,但此炸物跟平常的明蝦角分別不太,吃罷才醒起有吃到牛油果嗎?叉燒包焗得金黃,色澤誘人,酥皮也做得厚而脆甜,輕輕一咬便碎,是可口的西式包點。帶子腸饀料有點碎,腸粉也有點油,其他便無不妥。蘿蔔比較硬,而且未完全轉透明,幸好主角金錢肚炆得十分軟腍,而且帶纖維口感。燒腩肉用的是五花腩,燒得皮脆肉濕潤,調味也恰好,不會過咸,伴碟的醃蘿蔔絲是解膩佳品。蔬菜選擇不多,只有白灼時蔬和鮮竹銀杏津白,如果有更多選擇便好了。芝麻糕是為朋友而點因她是芝麻卷控,但相對芝麻卷,口感還是稍有不及。
