To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 眼見火炭沙田商業中心龍悅嘅門口侍應(應該不是知客)對食客態度勁差。昨晚見到一個女食客到龍悅食晚飯,當然要掃安心,但食客搞咗一陣,掃唔到,女侍應叫食客把手機放係枱面試下,當時女食客講污糟,都表示唔係咁想放係枱面(可能疫情關係),但都放咗係枱面,重係掃唔到QR,當時女侍應拿起食客和酒樓嘅手機搞咗一輪,口就不停講,手機污糟就用搓手液抹番佢咪得囉,還蹬大眼同食客講而家都同你搞緊幫緊你(態度極差極不友善),女食客可能覺得侍應嘅態度有問題,我來食飯,需唔需要對客人咁惡呢,於是想找經理作出投訴,女侍應係門口重不停話電話污糟就用搓手液抹,蹬大眼就係惡咩,你食就食,唔食就算(女食客找緊經理聽唔到呢啲說話)。但又好奇怪,居然冇酒樓職員調停,值至有位穿黑西裝嘅男人(應該係經理)出現,而女侍應係度扮招呼其他客人行開咗門口,而經理聽完女客人講,就話你想點吖,客人當然要求侍應道歉,經理話冇可能監侍應向人道歉,但佢可以代表酒樓道歉,女客人當然不滿離開。我看到眼裏,覺得酒樓女侍應態度的確係過咗火,掃安心,係政府出嘅,食肆職員係有責任幫手處理。還有,以現時市況咁差,酒樓侍應係咪更要對啲客好啲呢。明明呢個客人入嚟食飯,但
