To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

在會展參加完課程,到附近的酒店食自助餐。未想到餐廳很多深度遊的團客,好不熱鬧。食物的種類未算太多,尤其是冰鎮海鮮被搶奪一空雖然補充得亦算頻繁,但小人手腳慢亦搶不了多少!凍海鮮有青口、蝦、蜆以及東風螺,當中的青口與蝦最鮮美。芝麻菜和青瓜十分清爽,加入凱撒沙律汁與芝士,非常味美!豬肉杞子燒賣和春卷同樣夠熱,各勝所長。牛油煮肓鰽厚而豐腴,滋味得很。魚生、鴨胸及炒飯都不俗,濕潤有致。反為車仔檔的丸類和獅子狗很多粉,不太討好。甜品的豆腐花加了薑汁糖水,暖暖的滑入口裡。而最驚豔的是蛋散,極之香脆,甜度亦適中!雪糕是本地產品,吃下果然有爆谷味,有趣!自助餐不一定需要生蠔、鮑魚或花膠,平實無華亦一樣令人食得開懷滿足!
