TokyoLima is a late-night restaurant and bar serving Nikkei cuisine in the atmosphere of a buzzing izakaya. Their door is so heavy that you can’t pull it (well at least I can’t) and need the waitress opening it up from inside, building up the secretive atmosphere.

Restaurant week’s menu’s $198+10% for 3-course is really value for money and it tastes good, with good vibes and service.

Chicken thighs Kara-age / rocoto mayo

The dish that reflected the most of the Japanese element out of the 3-course menu. Very nicely done and a huge portion.

Slow cooked pork belly bun / pickled onion / deep fried sweet potato / coriander chimichurri / aji Amarillo sauce

The pork belly was very hot when being served. The fatty area didn’t taste like fat at all when it’s inside the mouth. 仲有啲彈牙. All the oil has been 逼晒出嚟when being cooked. Love that! 💗
