朋友話食得多新x榮,想試吓呢間。問題嚟喇,唔知係俾新x榮姐仔記養到條脷純咗,總覺呢間啲調味鑊氣都欠啲⋯⋯但先嚟嘅「薑蔥霸王雞半隻」明顯唔關先入為主事,同枱一眾都覺得做乜咁少得一小撮薑蔥?!預咗會用雪藏雞但如果連薑蔥呢啲幫手辟雪味且帶出雞味嘅低價食材配料都要慳的話,咁碟雞都唔慌會好食。果然,雞,冇嚟聞味,甚至髀、背都唔夠滑。之後嘅小炒「魚香茄子煲」、「豉椒炒花甲」(起碼冇肉少過殼)只屬不過不失,冇難忘印象。「炸蜆蚧鯪魚球」表現稍為好番啲,個頭酷似長洲大魚蛋大細,熱到辣嘴,唯始終鯪魚肉味都係唔夠,又令我諗起食到流口水嗰間喺川龍⋯⋯都係麒麟徑路邊小炒,但點都有分別。
