To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 2017年11月12日,11:58,我們一家4門口等位,等了約010分鐘,有位副經理葉錦雲說有位,叫了我們進內,我們已坐下一張4人枱,侍應也給了我們水杯,我把水杯也添了水,突然,奇怪事情發生了。。。那位副經理葉錦雲突然跑過來,興沖沖地說我們不能坐這裏,說這枱要給之前等位的人,要趕我們出外面等,有枱再叫我們進來我們已坐下5分鐘,當然不滿意,於是客氣地和她理論,但她態度惡劣,一副沒有處理錯誤態度,她是如此的懊慢,對客人如此的無禮,香港是禮義之邦,有此服務態度,難怪被周邊地方迎頭趕上。大圍太興門口沒人排隊,真係每況愈下,服務態度強差人意,難怪越來越少人幫襯了。太興僱用這些人做副經理,真係賣幾多廣告都補唔番,以一定不幫襯,也強烈建議其他人不要再幫襯大圍太興!想服務比零分,但openrice 系統限制唯有比1分
