To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 一家三口一場難得出到港島,除了逛IKEA,還有另一重要任務,就是與寶寶的姨姨及婆婆在金鐘北京樓吃飯。 位於太古廣場的北京樓,格調含蓄高雅,外圍一排紫色小花尤其清雅迷人,又有AE白金卡的折扣優惠,特別揀來作姨姨的生日飯地點。店內特設一間充滿書卷氣的VIP房,是晚我們就坐VIP房外邊,彷彿也沾染了一絲高雅氣息! 當時快將五個月大的寶寶,對餐檯上的餐巾,還有餐牌都很感興趣,將來應是識食之士;當晚大家分別點出心水菜式,又以美心常見的前菜開一開胃後,媽媽就先抱寶寶去育嬰室開餐。 回來之際,餸菜已經堆滿檯上,往好處想是上菜很有效率,但也顯示店方希望食客盡快交檯的意圖。逐一試食,首先是冷盤的陳皮成都辣味牛肉,牛腩肉肥瘦度很理想,肉質嫩口得來富有彈性,最重要是味道很豐富,初吃只覺咸香肉香,食後過了一會,一陣麻辣才緩緩滲出,美味得來十分刺激,值得推介。 另一個冷盤的素鵝卻是中看不中吃,主要是腐皮太甜了,又毫無煙燻香味。北京樓絕非正宗京菜,基本上是大江南北任何菜系都有,如廣式的咕嚕肉,然而成品酸甜得宜,脆口好吃就是了,也不必介意太多。  為愛雞的姨姨點了醬爆宮保雞丁,想不到成品辣中帶酸甜,滋味十分豐富,開

蜜糖莩薺餅,其實是加了馬蹄的脆煎堆,再淋上蜜糖而成;因新鮮製起味道不差,但與東來順的流沙金球一比,就完全的比下去了,媽媽好想念後者啊!

AE白金卡75折後,這餐都要$930多,以食物計未算太抵,始終很大部分消費都是給環境/地段。埋單後大家就早早交檯離開,並回到寶寶的新屋繼續甜蜜下場! 明天介紹~
