To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 一行二人來到太古城,在溜冰場附近乍見有一餐廳,飾櫃內的甜品十分吸引,於是要入內一試,既然亦差不多是晚餐時間,所以也不單是試甜品。餐廳雖然叫玻璃屋,但就不見有玻璃屋,倒是天花上用了很多綠色的裝飾。我們來得早,所以馬上就有位置。餐廳內地方頗大,座位也很舒適。翻開餐牌,餐廳提供多國的fusion菜,也有很多選擇。貪嘴的我們自然想叫多些特別的東西,餐牌上有套餐,但我們都想食扒,於是就散叫,我們點了Salmon Carpaccio 親“籽”三文魚配辣柚子豉油 ($118)及Signature Caesar Salad 酥炸珍寶軟殼蟹凱撒沙律伴流心蛋 ($148)作前菜,主菜兩人都不約而同地揀了牛,不過不同風味,點了Grilled Prime Sirloin with “House Pepper Sauce” 美國頂級西冷配秘製京醬 ($268)及Beef Rib with Pat Chun 慢煮12小時八珍甜醋牛肋骨 ($268),甜品就要了Butter Soft Cookie 即焗牛油軟曲奇 ($68)及Vanilla Souffle 香草梳乎厘 ($98),還有飲品的 Golden Pina

Espresso Coconut (Cocktail)的味道,所以就即管食得豪一些。


Golden Pina Colada 菠蘿椰奶沙冰是用菠蘿形狀的金屬,裡面放了裝著沙冰的玻璃杯,杯底黏著一塊冰以保持沙冰的冰凍。沙冰內有菠蘿汁及椰奶,上面放了些菠蘿,甚具特色。

而我的Espresso Coconut (Cocktail) 椰王雞尾酒則以椰殼盛著咖啡,椰殼下亦有一塊冰黏附著,咖啡是expresso,加入了伏特加酒、kahlua、椰奶及糖漿,咖啡味及酒味都十分濃郁,真的是雞尾酒多於咖啡,而味道十分出色。

前菜之一的Salmon Carpaccio 親“籽”三文魚配辣柚子豉油,用了挪威三文魚,份量也頗多,加上韓國柚子醋,味道有少許酸辣,上面放了些很嫩的韮菜枝,更加凸顯了三文魚的鮮甜味美。

這個Beef Rib with Pat Chun 慢煮12小時八珍甜醋牛肋骨是第一次食到,牛肋骨經過12小時低溫慢煮,吸收了甜醋的酸甜味道及香氣,牛肋骨十分腍滑及入味,配上清新健康的蘋果、蕃茄、蜜柑及沙律菜,還有幾塊軟熟的夾餅,可以夾著牛肋骨來食,是非常特別的菜色。
