To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

食物不新鮮，食完腸冑炎！

晚上同老婆進餐，點了魚生，壽司，炸物等等，發覺用料跟元氣分別不大，最貴的拖羅也不太新鮮，而且小孩不停喧嘩，根本沒法靜下來吃飯，亦沒有人勸阻，相當難受嘈吵。消費了800以上也吃不飽，卻換來一肚子氣，而且回家後腸胃炎了一星期以上。以後不會再光顧。整體服務其實不算差，但食物質素真的不配這價錢，魚生最緊要新鮮，連這基本也做不到，壽司也是粗製濫造，只有刀工10分好，每片魚生都薄到透明，連爭鮮也不如，吃過其他分店，暫時這間最差。
