To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

近日同屋企人慶祝生日，一入到酒店個環境富麗堂皇，安排的座位都非常舒適。可選擇嘅食物種類繁多，但在眾多自助餐餐廳裏味道都較為中下。中菜類的點心最令人失望，小籠包皮太厚，沒有任何肉汁。牛肉球味道卻像鯪魚球。素菜中式炒麵的味道說實話令我想起小學時學校canteen的頹飯炒麵，非常有回憶感。叉燒太靭口。日式雜菜的醬料過甜。另外燒烤好的魷魚過硬切不下。比較可圈可點的是他們的鐵板燒，餅的粉漿不會落太多，蔬菜也很足料，師傅更會現場製作，令客人都可以吃到新鮮熱辣辣的鐵板燒甜品的選擇非常豐富，但味道未為理想，大多過甜。椰子雪糕的椰子味極少，牛奶味更濃。總括而言，部份食物的味道尚可，但不值得這個價錢，未必會再來吃自助餐。
