To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 簡單的一餐晚飯,就在這間「太興」解決。吃的是最簡單的燒味雙併飯,本來我們是想叫燒鵝的,可惜舊的燒鵝正好賣光,新的燒鵝又未上架,唯有捨鵝取雞,兩夫妻一個叫來「叉油雞飯」一碟,另一個則叫來「燒肉切雞飯」一碟。兩碟燒味飯的飯量並不太多,太座雖然夠飽,我卻覺得份量少了些。而在燒肉、叉燒和油雞三者當中,叉燒和油雞是較好的,燒肉則只是普普通通而已。這裡的「九吋芝士老虎花竹海蝦」正在做推介,只售$28,看來好像蠻抵食的,也叫來一客試試。這開邊上桌的「九吋芝士老虎花竹海蝦」的海蝦的確有九吋長,肉都夠多,但肉味和芝士味都不夠濃,加上以南瓜片墊底給人的感覺怪怪的,而且南瓜硬而不腍,即使不吃也不是損失。這兒的食物水準雖然不算很好,也未算十分差,但服務方面可真不行。首先,當這兒的一位女侍應做錯了一點事,被經理責罵的時候,那經理和女侍應其實就在我們的身邊,那經理完全沒有理會旁邊客人的感受,顯得他似乎有欠專業。此外,我倆的飯吃來淡而無味,雖然我其實早已感到有點奇怪,但也不以為意,但到了最後埋單的時候,我才發現帳單裡竟寫著走汁。天哪!怎麼會無中生有的?我們明明沒有叫走汁的,為甚麼竟會這樣?難怪那些飯會淡而無味了。那

?我們明明沒有叫走汁的,為甚麼竟會這樣?難怪那些飯會淡而無味了
。那女侍應可真厲害,使我深表佩服
!畢竟,無中生有的功夫,並非人人懂得的


最後,其實我本來是叫切雞而非油雞的,但上桌之後,我原先所叫的「燒肉切雞飯」竟然變成了「燒肉油雞飯」,再一次証明了這兒員工的創作能力,簡直是能人所不能,這兒員工這種想怎樣就怎樣,懶理客人想吃什麼的精神,再次使我這個要求其實不高的食客深表佩服,實在欽敬


這間「太興」,既是收費偏貴的的高檔茶餐廳連鎖集團,理應在服務方面有一定的保証才是,但在事實上,培訓員工方面卻這樣失敗,怎能令人滿意呢
!要是員工的服務水平沒有提升的話,我想都幾難吸引我再次幫襯了
