To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 12月24日部門食飯, 11:30先有位, 要過半數及準時先安排入座, 但就冇限時, 我們有11個人, 分開左兩張枱, 我們呢張枱每人都叫定食套餐, 另一張枱則散叫呀.電子落單, 不過其實都幾浪費時間. 因有太多選項要填, 有些需求又唔知點填落去, 最後都係要同仕應講, 咁直接由仕應落單會更加有效率吧.我們食和牛定食套餐, 有和牛, 紫菜蛋飯, 飲品及雪糕. 好豐富的呀, 和牛有幾個部位的, 不過都唔知點分了, 還有茄子, 菇及粟米的, 其實食了那碗紫菜飯, 都有點飽了, 飯加了雞蛋及紫菜又幾好味喎, 和牛燒到唔係好熟, 入口都好淋的, 肉汁都算多, 唔會好鞋的, 好味道, 有些部位比較有咬口, 有些則入口即溶, 好有層次的, 有同事食豬肉定飯, 佢都話好好味, 都有飲品但就沒有雪糕.我們套餐的雪糕可以選擇抹菜及雲妮拿, 我食雲妮拿, 上面有些焦糖, 但又OK, 唔會好甜, 雪糕都CREAMY的, 好實. 抹茶上面加了一些豆粉, 他們說好味. 隔離張枱係不停的叫牛肉, 仲有魷魚, 帶子, 鮑魚等等, 我都有試牛舌, 魷魚, 帶子, 帶子係成個盤放落去燒的, 入面有一塊牛油, 睇住牛油一
