To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 朋友比左幾張晚市現金券俾我每$300 減$100如此類推,4條友happy Friday出左旺角,行街街搵野食,咁啱行行吓,打1號風球重落雨添,於是就閃入朗豪坊,既然大家都唔知食乜,我就提議去3樓嘅八月花食晚飯,時間尚早(酒樓開六點)嗱嗱聲走去book位先,Book咗位六點開始,用餐限時90分鐘,於是走去飲杯咖啡。5:50分到,小菜都係一般酒樓菜式冇乜特別,一個小菜大概平均係$130,幾個女仔都冇乜要求,隨便揀幾個唔好咁油膩清清淡淡嘅小菜,志在用埋張coupon唔好浪費我老友嘅一番美意,埋單嘅時候主動叫我儲Why積分,用指定信用卡仲有2%積分回贈,上載單據重可以儲埋商場積分,而張優惠券以全單計算,即係前菜茶水加一服務費,唔洗另外收費,4個人食左6xx,扣減Coupon每人1xx,作為响旺角鬧市,坐位舒服唔擠迫,職員服務態度良好,上菜速度快,結帳响你前面搞掂,唔使帶我張卡去遊花園。是次消費感覺良好,會再去,想試吓片皮鴨·海斑套餐
