To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

食車仔麵是童年的集體回憶, 今天經過大南街見到這家頗具裝潢的車仔麵店, 心血來潮要入去試一試 它不是傳統的車仔麵店, 好有文青風, 鋪面地方不大但簡約雅致, 店員也全部清一色是年青人. 枱面除放有車仔餸點菜紙外, 還有一張食評紙, 歡迎食客留言, 並自行貼在店內牆壁上, 店主不會篩選食評紙, 以實力感動顧客的心!我其實並不肚餓, 只點了個兩餸麵, 猪紅+猪大腸+米粉, 可自選醬汁, 我選了最愛的腩汁, 還有四種配料可加減: 芫茜, 葱, 蒜, 乾蒜, 我特愛香菜, 所以全部都要。十分鐘後, 一碗熱騰騰，香噴噴的米粉送到我面前, 猪紅好爽, 大腸炆得好腍, 湯底配上各種香菜令人想連湯都倒進肚子裡。原來牆上貼滿的好評留言全不是客套話! 讚!
