To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

有朋友以前說這家煲仔飯不錯，中午约了好友去試試。煲仔飯，臘腸及米質地不錯，煮的火喉可以，有飯焦，但臘鴨又乾又柴，臘肉徦肥，極難吃！咕嚕肉，四季豆，㕑師可以把這2道濃味的菜，做到淡如無味，只可說神符奇技！個人明白，菜式有偏差，高低，極少寫劣評，但服務，清潔及衛生，則會直說。服務，坐下巳覺有點暖，沒放心上，再多坐及吃了一會，問服務員可否加大冷氣，回話不能，因一部机壞了，問我是否熱，我說是，並說在流汗，他的回應令我無語，"你大汗唧‘’雖然他其後也回來問可要换個位置，但我們巳沒心情，怱怱吃完便结眼。
