To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

今天晚上打完羽毛球,便順便到附近的新港城食晚飯。雖然是閒日,但晚上7:30是晚餐的高峰期,所以幾乎這裡的所有餐廳都要等位。最後我們選擇了茶木。輪候時間大約15分鐘,新港城這間分店分內外兩種座位,我們被安排坐到外面的座位,這裡比較沒有私隱,但由於很肚餓的關係,我們就沒有再等位。我們點了這裡最出名的兩款菜色:紅燒牛肉麵和多士盒。燒牛肉麵在下單後不用5分4就已經送上,速度比食快餐還要快呢!牛肉麵中有白蘿蔔、紅燒牛肉和麵。白蘿蔔很甜,完全沒有苦澀味;紅燒牛肉炆得非常軟稔,幾乎不用咀嚼,入口即融,而且很入味,再加上肉位和筋位的質地交錯,口感和味道都是一流!芒果蜜糖雪糕多士:這個多士的製作時間要15-20分鐘。它的外表已經很吸引,有三層的蜜糖多士各一球大大的雪糕和忌廉。所用的芒果和士多啤梨都很新鮮香甜,微暖的多士配上冰凍的雪糕,是味蕾的一大衝擊!多士焗得脆脆的,沾上雪糕、忌廉和蜜糖一齊食入口中,確實令人滿足呢!
