To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 這間北京樓位於德福廣場,前身是翠園,是最近才轉為北京樓!由於是新裝修,所以環境算是算是新淨帶一點豪華。不過可能是30/12, 比較多人訂枱,所以迫了少少。來這兒當然是為了食片皮鴨! 一隻$410,半份$210! 自己點了半! 整體而言,質素算是唔錯,食物夠熱,鴨片算是有點脆,不過應該可以再好一點!咕嚕肉$168,食得出用料唔錯,肉味香,不過唔夠脆! 上面的炸芋絲淋了,唔太好食,比較可惜。火腿津白$148,火腿鹹香適中,津白過上湯泡過後夠淋和入味!小籠包,皮薄多汁,不過皮比較容易穿,比較可惜。至於鍋貼和炸銀絲卷都是不錯之作!茶位$15一位,茶的質素與價錢對比算是合理!最後點多2個白飯和2枝汽水,連同小費,比了1000個大洋!至於環境,由於是新裝修,加上北京樓一向都是走高級路線,所以環境唔差。值得一提的是服務算是唔錯,值得一讚。
