To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 牛角,其實經常去邊都會見到,但冇入去食過,今日問老婆想食壽司定牛角,老婆話未食過牛角,不如去食下啦。時間尚早,不算太多人,不用等位,就有位了。座位不太闊落,3個人坐2個人既枱,好逼,但不算太大油煙。餐廳選用的都是優質牛肉,如佐賀頂級A5黑毛和牛。佐賀頂級A5黑毛和牛薄燒月見和牛($128)大理石花紋般的油花,分佈均勻。吃進嘴裡多汁柔軟,入口即化。極上和牛四品盛合($528)佐賀頂級A5黑毛和牛和牛肉眼-佐賀牛肉油花豐富,一咬滿嘴油香,口感非常嫩滑佐賀頂級A5黑毛和牛和牛西冷-西冷肉味香濃富咬感,油花分布適中,啖啖入口即溶佐賀頂級A5黑毛和牛和牛一口牛-油脂較多,唔好燒得太耐,會比較韌極上和牛澳洲和牛舌-口感十足且肉質非常腍軟吃完這幾款,感覺置身於日本,日本的感覺回來了,真係太正太好味,最後我地亦點了多一客佐賀頂級A5黑毛和牛和牛($128)和牛角飯($29),牛角飯忘記了拍照,大量的紫菜碎在飯面,內裡有醬油及白芝麻,攪勻一齊食,好香濃紫菜味,非常美味。梅子青檸梳打($32)清爽解渴,而餐廳不會主動派發即棄飲管,為海洋生態出一分力。
