To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 蜆介炸鯪魚球,鯪魚球炸得好香,皮暖帶少少脆,最出色是個蜆介,好老實,我每次食炸鯪魚球或炸雙棗我都唔會點那碟蜆蚧的,因老豆自細就教過我酒樓那個好多菌又放得好耐唔會係好野,不過今次你地睇下,佢既蜆蚧用新油再汆油先上檯,好明顯衛生好多,味道也好,帶出香味更濃,當然最後我全日都無肚痛啦…哈哈

擔挑砵仔糕,細細個,黃糖唔知佢仲用什麼糖溝到朱古力色,紅豆大大粒,四個砵仔糕細細個好得意,o岩晒檯上的小朋友,味道不算太甜幾有咬口,可代替多年傳統的小蛋撻仔!
