To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 連鎖日式火鍋放題店，相信大部分人都食過。正價唔平，但如果用信用卡或者會員優惠就好扺食，今次揀左美國spf和牛，埋單每人$200多啲啲。牛肉如照片所見，雪花均勻，食落牛味濃，高質好食！豬肉都好食嘅，不過牛比較吸引，主力都係食牛。個餐包埋四款海鮮任食，一放上台我已經聞到腥味，所以一舊都無食，但同行朋友食左覺得ok，食落唔腥，同埋佢地都有encore。蔬菜就自己去夾，都新鮮好食，值得一讚係佢地啲粟米無頭頭尾尾，全部都係中間嗰段，所以好甜。唯一不滿係飲品方面，個汽水機有問題，啲汽水同果汁好似溝唔勻咁，有時禁出黎嘅汽水完全無味。
