假日和朋友到尖沙咀逛逛,先到附近的鰻魚專門店吃午餐。店舖剛開門,成為當日第一組食客。店內的裝潢以日式和風為主,猶如置身在日本小店。每個座位的蓋可打開放置隨身物品。座位充足,以一人至四人座位為主。沙羅鰻蛇丼($198),Mega size 鰻魚,一大個碗也放不下一大條厚身的鰻魚,要加用一隻碟盛載,帶來視覺上的震撼。鰻魚厚肉,刺少,主要在中間,很容易分間開來。鰻魚上也有一支旗仔,提醒人注意有刺。魚肉夠厚,澆上燒汁,增添鰻魚的惹味。鰻魚底下的玉子卷非常嫩滑,同樣份量十足。綠茶($12),綠茶粉以熱水拌勻。茶味濃郁,有濃郁的綠茶香味。也可請店員加熱水,調整綠茶的濃度,配便當吃很合適。白燒生燒鰻魚丼($188),套餐升級+$18,有玄米茶、酸爽鹹菜、鰻魚肝白貝湯和温泉蛋。鰻魚肝白貝湯鹹度適中,上桌時燙熱,內有無沙蜆肉。温泉蛋蛋香十足,把鰻魚沾一點蛋黃和蛋白,以蛋香提升鰻魚的鮮味。白燒即是沒有加醬的蒲燒,將鰻魚烤熟,是最基本的烹調鰻魚方式,能嚐到鰻魚最原始的風味。鰻魚切件,燒得香脆,魚肉在炙燒後變得彈牙,整件以香脆彈牙為主。
