To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 早前在富臨酒樓飲下午茶時見到餐牌推出六月份晚飯優惠,頗為吸引,今晚約了朋友試試先-上湯焗加拿大龍蝦伊面上湯焗加拿大龍蝦伊面128元,就是衝著這價錢上富臨的,果然這個沒有失望,吃著爽囗--彈牙的龍蝦配上伊麵,雖然吃開的芝士焗龍蝦比較濃味,但這個吃到是龍蝦的真鮮味。-爆炒海參花生苗真是大鄉里,第一次聽到有花生苗菜式,即時叫左碟試試,花生苗個樣真的是一粒花生樣加一条尾巴,有手指尾咁長,比大荳芽粗一倍度,相當脆囗,用上迷你海參仔,九菜花,有少少辣味配搭,很是惹味,令人停不住口 。--荷香鼓味蒸白鱔在街市買白鱔的價錢也不便宜,這裡百元多些便有半条白膳的份量,用荷葉墊底蒸,火喉剛剛好,鱔片爽口好味,如果遇著腍身的白膳,那就掃興了,好彩不是那回事。--鐵板黑椒豬手因座上有個食肉怪獸,所以点了原隻豬手給他,淋上黑椒汁,也很惹味非常,豬手頗大隻,可以滿足怪獸的食慾了。--姬松茸炖響螺湯是晚還点了一個湯是在姬松茸炖響螺湯或冬瓜盅作出選擇,結果少數服從多數点姬松茸炖響螺湯,內有響螺,姬松茸,雞及瘦肉等豐富材料,炖湯濃郁清澈,雖是夏天,也不覺油膩,而姬松茸味道也是我挺喜愛的
