To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 依間酒樓星期六日平時係要等位嘅,唔知點解星期六嘅1:30唔使等位好快就入到去啦。茉莉青檸茶,個杯幾靚,味道偏甜,飲唔出有咩茶味。水果紅茶,都係味道好甜,份量都幾多,水果有青蘋果、蘋果同埋橙,我覺得啲飲品麻麻地。叉燒酥整得好鬆脆,個皮好好味,唔會太厚粉,啱啱好。酥皮蛋撻個蛋好滑,係新鮮熱辣焗出嚟嘅。煎釀三寶份量好多,都幾好味,蝦膠好彈牙。蝦餃材料新鮮,皮都唔會太厚。青瓜撈豬肚,我覺得豬肚切得有啲大嚿。春卷炸得好脆,加埋沙律醬都幾好味。豬肚燒賣麻麻哋,個豬肚有啲腥。珍珠雞入面冇蛋黃嘅,不過有瑤柱,我覺得一般啦。依個脆脆蝦腸粉唔錯,最緊要係啲蝦夠新鮮。雷沙湯丸個皮好濕,我覺得一般好食。埋單食咗$600,點心都唔錯啊!
