本年的第一個八號風球在無聲無色下來又去,我等打工仔未能享受颱風帶來的休假,幸好也沒有因此而影響七一悠長周末的安排,於我們來說就是頭炮的Saturday Brunch!說起來我倆上一次光顧已是3-4年前的事,這次再訪一行七人 ,又有另一番味道。Weekend brunch算是半自助,凍盤、甜品和部分熱食為自助形式,到適當時候店員會為大家送上頭盤、意粉、主菜及咖啡/茶。甫坐下先每人來一杯sparkling wine,很festive,連同橙汁及西柚汁均是無限添加,絕對能令你"飲飽食醉"! 自助餐大概不應只focus on凍盤,另一邊廂我們有磨菇湯、即製sashimi toast, 2 super impressive things among all in this brunch! Normally我太喜歡西湯, let along in a buffet brunch. 但我必須說這裡的磨菇is worth the try, creamy 但不肥膩,眾人都力讚!另一亮光是這份多士,以三種魚生及一塊即煎的脆baguette slice:是一塊牛油味香濃的baguette slice; 一塊有三文魚、吞拿魚及油甘魚的baguette toast。非常非常出色,只可惜我們都沒有好好給它拍照留念。

每人有一客焗半邊龍蝦,另外也有兩款pasta,均由侍應送上。

最欣賞的是藍芝士linguine,啖啖芝味,linguine又al dante,叫人欲罷不能。螺絲粉的蕃茄醬也很香濃吸引,七人分享四碟仍然是太多,結果還是吃不完,太浪費。小妹認為倒不如把pasta放在buffet counter,serve tasting portion,這樣會更環保(記得多年前是用這個模式的)

更撐胃的是每人有一款主菜!選擇有大約七款,例如煎鵝肝、烤春雞等。最受大家歡迎的是lamb rack,然後是cod fish,小妹為了嘗試別的款式因此要了seabream.

羊架水準不穩,有的很嫩,有的就很乾,反而兩款魚更高水準。

sea bream非常出色,魚味濃,雖不及cod fish滑,但令人更有吃魚吃海鮮的感覺,很滿意。

超欣賞buttercream香滑得來一點也不溜,多吃也不壞肚皮。choux pastry非常鬆脆,為甜品中的亮點,得到本枱所有女士一致讚賞,建議大家再飽都要一試!

2. 粒裝朱古力

黑、白和牛奶的都有,適合所有口味的人,而小妹喜歡牛油caramel和橙味黑朱古力,但MP說太似club那一種,而白朱古力就大家都沒有吃。

芝士味香得來有一點airy,不像new york cheesecake般吃幾口就撐得胃脹脹,marble做得也很漂亮。

吃了這麼豐富的食物,我們不忘多吃一點新鮮水果,不斷refill的是blueberry, strawberry及raspberry,大吃大喝之餘也要愛惜自己的腸胃!最後有以意大利豆即磨咖啡,配了現場提供的雲尼拿雪糕,原來如此有火花!

用了openrice提供的優惠券,每人才不過$500多餘,就可以一家人整整齊齊地吃一頓weekend brunch,實在超值;更為美好的假期作了個好開始~
