To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

跟女友游水過後，經過餐廳門口，眼見裝修光鮮價位中等，於是便進去試新餐廳。沒想到，竟然大失所望。女友叫了一份海南雞套餐（例牌）$68，我則叫了牛柳絲炒烏冬 $72。 等了十多分鐘後，第一碟來牛柳絲烏冬。肉質尚可。 不過烏冬全是碎的。每條不長過手指長度。 似是用其他客人吃剩的烏冬炒出來。之後女友的海南雞餐到了，一望就發現有欺詐成份。 來了是蒸白切雞而不是海南雞。 飯亦是白飯。 如果是白飯切雞， 那麼它便應該一早講沒有海南雞餐。 亦不能收海南雞餐的價錢!
