To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 今日老爸壽, 就近美孚Book了個抵食星斑魚翅宴. 地方要求了坐牆邊, 唔要啤酒, 改汽水也沒問題, 切蛋糕, 開紅酒唔加錢, 仲有兩渣蔗汁, 茶芥, 加一全包, 12位用, $1488 仲想點.人齊, 叫起菜, 次序錯了, 第一次叫圍檯食飯, 翅先上, 部長端上時, 亦道奇...再來乳豬拚盤, 同蝦仁. 不像酒席般慢慢上, 前兩道菜未食完已來蒸元貝, 原來服務以快為主, 食完個蟹蓋, 星斑蒸上, 魚的確是新鮮, 肉爽口清甜. 姨媽們是愛骨之人, 掃食後, 條魚, 屍不見骨.....到後來花膠鵝掌, 芝麻雞已是半飽, 花膠鵝掌菜多, 大家仍然吃得下, 但芝麻雞同再上之上海翠肉包, 已淪為打包珍品.看見富臨Reply我們的食評, 其公關部有做野, 參考我們的Critic, 作出改善, 有沒有改善呢, 有待更多食客們查核.
