To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 凌晨機往美國,心情十分興奮,此行大約兩星期多,赴美前一於臨別秋波,嘆杯地道港式奶茶才上機,港式茶餐廳,翠華應該穩陣之選吧!將hand carry行李放在大門,便被安排入座,裏面非常闊落,當然~機場嘛!不過,這裏環境沒我想像中衛生。才九點多,還有幾個小時才登機,晚一點可能會肚餓,不如就點一個輕盈的米線餐吧,反正看來都挺吸引,又跟一杯餐飲,正中下懷。還以為非常輕盈,這個鹿兒島風豬軟骨拼鮮蝦菠菜餃米線($58)實在有點深藏不露,驟眼看以為份量不多,原來吃着吃着就都覺甚為飽肚,要老公出口相助。豬軟骨有幾大件,燜得軟稔又入味,軟骨部份,入口更是又香又滑溜,湯底超級濃稠,我感到嘴唇被那豐富的骨膠原弄得黏黏的。米線掛著如此濃郁的湯底,那會不好吃?鮮蝦菠菜餃也很有誠意,餃子皮薄餡靚,隻隻飽滿,餡料包成一邊是鮮味彈牙的蝦肉一邊是清甜爽脆的菠菜,能鮮明地吃到兩種餡料的口感和原味,有心思,這碗米線的水準比我預期高。翠華的奶茶很對我的口味,茶太多,我會覺得苦澀,不夠滑溜,但奶太多,茶香又變得遜色,這杯茶和奶的比例恰如其份,我對這杯2016的最後港式奶茶非常滿意,暫別香港兩星期,回來時已經是2017了。
