銅鑼灣區內一向是優質日式菜系集中地,無論是刺身壽司,鐵板燒或是融和菜式,都能輕易找到優質餐廳;素來食盡各種美食的饗客好友這次相約我到區內一家鐵板燒來個飯局相聚,便知道又有口福,就馬上答應出席!週四夜的銅鑼灣較為繁華一點,從地鐵站B出口前往,可避開沉悶冗長的A出口;來到餐廳門口,映入眼簾的是門面的顔色,燈光,裝潢及構圖,帶點美式餐廳的風格,加上漫畫化的猴子標誌,霸氣得來又非常醒目!由於好友一早已訂了位,一來到就可入座;於大廈地面樓層的餐廳,好處是可擁高樓底,十足的空間感;而內裡的主設計是環繞鐵板爐具的吧枱,讓客人們安座於此可全程觀賞廚師們的鐵板燒技藝!而柔亮的燈光亦集中於此,有如聚焦在舞台中央;旁邊的圓枱則相對地暗色調,喜歡有情調的會較適合;而空氣中彌漫著絲絲煙燻,肉類特別是牛肉的油脂氣息,已引人垂涎!餐牌的製作亦較為精美,加上適中份量的選擇,讓人很容易點選合心意的菜式;而當日精選的,就以粉筆寫在牆上的黑板上;這等場合當然由好友發辦來點菜;與好友閒聊了一會,侍應生先遞上前菜-蕃茄蒜子沙律;將蕃茄去皮後,淋上特別調製的醬汁,啖味起口感鹹甜酸很平衡,更加突出蕃茄的酸爽清新,令人開胃!唐揚豆池

下一道菜式,我們要了五成熟的A5和牛坑腩;只見鐵板師傅從雪櫃取出一整塊A5和牛坑腩,稍作解凍後切下了最肥的脂肪,留待下一道菜備用;然後就把和牛坑腩放在大鐵板中央,用兩把小鐵鏟將這妙品徐疾有致地翻弄著,令到六面都能受熱,再灑上海鹽,研磨黑椒粒於面上,待感受到達到合適的熟度,就用鋒利的廚刀兩三下手勢就把和牛坑腩切成厚薄均勻大小適中的肉片;

配上醬油,用簡單的調味,就能品嚐到這綿滑柔嫩的A5級和牛坑腩的肉質!用來自意大利的礦泉水先清一清味蕾,再將一片賣相吸引的坑腩夾進口中,一下子感受到牛肉與牛脂及肉汁的連貫,即時在味蕾上閃出妙曼的火花!細嚼之下,坑腩的肉質一點都不黏牙,而且滲出的油潤脂肪結合點點黑椒香辣味,從牙縫滲在舌頭上,其香至極,不愧為A5等級!
