Ordered takeaway today to enjoy this noodle at home. The transportation was around 30 minutes and the noodles lose some heat but was still warm and hot.
I chose their signature Radish in Clear Broth as topping and they gave not a lot but enough to be satisfied. Each piece was small and very soaked with flavor, the flavor is mild and savory.
For soup base I ordered their regular Coriander Pork Broth (人氣豬骨濃湯). The taste is really good 😝. The coriander is strong but not overwhelming at all, the pork flavor is subtle but you can still identify the hearty bone broth. This soup is really light and flavorful. There is also coriander stems and leaves that goes great with noodles because of their crunchiness.
For noodle, I added $3 to change to potato noodle because I like the chewiness it has. The noodle is not the usual smooth noodles I’m used to but this has ridges and much softer and easier to chew than I thought 🙁. I prefer chewier noodles so this to me was very soft and mushy. The noodle was given generously compared to the radish and slurping it with the soup is delicious. Although it just reminded me of regular 米線 or even 河粉because of its springiness and inelasticity.
They also gave me some 豆皮 (bean skin) as a topping and I decided to remove the 炸醬 (meat sauce) because I am not a fan of that 😞. The 豆皮 was all tangled together which is kinda annoying but other then that, it was tender and tasted great with the coriander stems.
Overall, the taste was good and flavorful. I did not have high expectations and also the fact I ordered takeaway will decrease the flavor too, as dining in restaurant would meant steaming hot noodles are served and they would not become mushy or soggy.
