Be is the fourth restaurant of the Years franchise. Opened near whampoa, its location is near the edge and needs a 7 min walk from the MTR station. It is furnished with typical Years aesthetics, ie Hip and Modern. Long story short, if you’re a fan of Years, you will be a fan of this restaurant. We ordered the Old School impossible burger and the Cauliflower steak. They do not skimp out on the patties for the impossible burger. Truly one of the best places to eat Impossible if you’re a fan of good food. The cauliflower steak was decent. It wasn’t too special but worth a try. It is certainly a bit steep given the price and the other options on the menu. Also based on other people’s orders, it seems the cauliflower steak varies a bit in size order to order. Perhaps this could be attributed to the fact that this is the second day since soft opening. It should become more consistent based on experience at Years.
For drinks, we had the banana pitaya oat milk and the tumeric ginger latte. Nothing much to comment on besides the fact that they absolutely smashed it. Loved both of them, and it’s a treat that you can get the drinks for a cheaper price if you buy a main. The Banana Pitaya has a strong oat milk flavour, and the tumeric ginger leans heavier in the tumeric. Both were great.
All in all, definitely recommend to come to Be. It is a fine addition to the series of restaurants by the Years team. Especially since it’s now in the middle of a residential area not far off into the west.
