While all the other shops were always open, this one closes real early.Anyway, it is not the first time I have had these rice rolls so I was just trying this one to compare with the one at Kai Ching market and Kwun Tong.Ordered the plain one to see how the texture was.I am so glad I did not order two or even order the rolls with other stuff.The texture was just sticky and stodgy.It was not even elastic  and the texture was just like steamed rice flour mixture which is technically what it is but

The texture was just sticky and stodgy.
It was not even elastic  and the texture was just like steamed rice flour mixture which is technically what it is but normally it is meant to be extremely thin  and then scraped together to form the roll.
I reckon the person who usually does it was off that day.
