Date Dined: Tues 25th Jan 2011 6.45pm

Ordered: A spicey noodles set (spicey soup and veg) & Purple noodles with pork chop set ( soya milk & veg) & steam purple rice bun

Taste: Spicey noodles with peanut sauce: This came first and it was in a rather big bowl. The soup was not that thick but orangey. With half an boiled egg with black fungus and minced pork also some sweetcorns. The soup was quite nice, it was super hot but hot enough. The noodles was 5 wheat noodles, it wasn't too hard or overdone. It was fresh and tasty. especially when you know it is healthy. the egg was tasteless and maybe I am too used to half boiled egg by the Japanese. fully boiled egg was not appealing.

Purple rice noodles with pork chop: The Pork chop came seperately. generous amount of pork chop. The pork chop was crispy and tender on inside. nicely marinaded. It was on the sweet side. i wonder what sauce they used, tasted bit like teriyaki sauce. was really tasty.
the soup noodle was plain and rather tasteless esp if you have tasted the spicy soup. It was so bland. i can tell it was very healthy. No oil, no seasoning no MSG? Also with black fungus sweetcorn, half boiled egg and beansprout. The noodles were really good. It had more texture to it than the 5 wheat noodles. You can change for either of the noodles for free.

The vegetable (came with the set) I dont think this was needed to change to set. The veg only came with 3 CHOI. And it did not even taste good.

Steam purple rice bun: I am a fan of steam buns. It looked realli nice. It wasnt a dark purple colour but a nice purple. They had cut it for you already and came with condense milk for you to dip it in. I ate it without the condense milk. it was very dull, but you can taste the purple rice. it wasnt strong enough in taste, so dipping it into condense milk was better. But i never had steam buns with condense milk, i have only ahd it with fry condense milk.

Purple soya milk: I thought they would make it from fresh but instead they gave me a bottle heated up.
tasted okay, but would be nicer if it was made fresh, atleast it would be healthier right?

Spicy soup: Did not taste it, as they never served it to us.

Location: In same building as misocool, and further up from holly Brown.

Conclusion: There are pros and cons about this restaurant, lets start with the cons

CONS
:- We stood there for 5 mins and still noone served us. Not even that, there was noone around. Could not find a soul, We had to stick our head into kitchen and asked to be served.
- Service was slow. They did not seem to acknowledge their costumers.
- they never refilled our water.
- My drink from the set never came. i thought they were fixing the machine to make me fresh soya milk, but instead they were making pearl tea for themselves and neglected us. And FORGOT about my drink.
- The noodles came out different time. My noodles came after my companion finished her noodles. So we watched each other eat.
- They were too busy doing their own stuff and chatting. is aw costumers walk in and they did not even notice.
- The chairs are really cool, but really uncomfortable. and you feel like you will break it soon
- There are no rooms to stretch legs when you sit down as the tables is in a wird shape.
The food was to healthy, bit dull, probably wont come back

PROS-
- the restaurant is really cool. everything made out of cardboard and paper. i love it. evn the decorations are made out of cardboard, that includes the decoration on the wall. the chairs are made of cardboard and the waiter said can hold a 400 pound person. How cool is that? the tables are cardboard with glass on top. ven the cups is too. but the cups seems abit fragile. Once you come into the restaurant you will see a cardboard shelf with lots of stuff made out of cardboard and paper for sale. Its intriguing looking at it all. Can spend hours looking at the whole restaurant. It's a good experience
- The food is good. And you feel healthy. The menu has alot of different food, varies from noodle, rice, dessert and starter. Drinks had a few too, with lots of different soya milk, and pearl tea. All healthy food and drinks at reasonable price.
- it was nice and quiet. We left at half , more people came in but was not totally full
-The waiters and waitress were actually quite polite just they seem to talk lot to each other and do their own stuff and forget what their job is.
-They forgot about my drink, and the soup that came with the set - WHICH WE NEVER GOT TO TASTE

- GOOD ENVIRONMENT and atmosphere - FOR REASONABLE PRICE
