It’s my second time dining here with a friend but this time we went there for a birthday dinner. The dinner menu looked different from the lunch menu where it included more starters and entrees. The dinner special was an Ox burger set with chips ($248), I couldn’t find anything on the menu that appeals to me as much as this so I ordered it, same with my friend. For starters, we ordered the Burrata ($148). We also added too drinks just to spice the dinner up a little - Three Oaks Cider ($65) and
The tomato mix with burrata was sublime but we thought they could have given us more bread to eat with instead of only one each which seemed strange to us at the time. That said, the chips that came with the burger was oven baked rather than fried so they were relatively healthier. Remember to ask for the organic tomato sauce which is more grainy than pasty and it adds more to the flavour of the chips. Even better, they offered us a free trifle dessert, the blueberry jelly plus the cream put us in paradise. Dining here can be expensive but it’s worthwhile if you want to spend some quality time with your loved ones.
