This little modern and slightly more upscale Japanese eatery on Gough street which nicely rounds out the casually hip dining scene. Don't come here if you're concerned about social distancing. You're almost sitting in your neighbor's lap. But aren't the fun restaurants supposed to be like this ?

The dishes are pitched at the right amount of innovation: fresh, bright presentation with some interesting flavor and texture contrasts. The actual taste I would say was "good" but not amazing.

Service was casual yet smart and attentive.

Worth one try but not sure I would come back again.
