Trying out buffet in different restaurants has become one of our family gathering activities. I think this cafe Palette is a place that we can definitely return.

A group of 16 people including 3 children, Palette's food selection had entertained us more than enough.

Adult price $488+10% included unlimited serving of fresh oysters and lobster was way too generous. Other buffet places would have charged over $600+10% per person. There was spider crab legs too, yum yum!

Specially liked the salad section, had a chat with the Chef, they used hydroponics vegetables which healthily grew without any pesticides. There was a wooden salad bowl for you to toast your own salad. What a touch!

On hot section, various food choices from Chinese, Indian to Japanese dishes. As well as carving station. Loved the homemade char siu! Loved the homemade pasta! I can see their effort than just serving you tones of food.

Dessert couldn't be missed! I liked their idea of setting the small oven to keep the Portuguese tarts warm. The mango mousse was smooth, the sweetness of chocolate cake was just right not overly sweet.

They had a chocolate fountain which many places have. What made it unforgetable on the evening I visited was there were 3 western girls dipped the fruit or mashmellow in front of the fountain again and again with their own stick. This may need more supervision.

Last but not least, maybe they can think about a top up beverage deal. Currently the price includes coffee and tea to be self-served. It would be good to have a small menu to introduce juice, soft drinks, wine by glass etc. Buffet is not only about food.
