Having tried their impressive lunch at Le Jardin (fourth floor of same building), I want to try out their more casual dinning under Le Salon to see how it fares with the main three Michelin stars restaurant. I ordered the following from their 3 course set menu (on a week day)priced at $408+10% service charge:
Le Tomate- the tomato and mozzarella salad were fresh but it was a bit bland. Personally, would prefer more prominent notes from basil and olive oil dressing.
Le Black Cod- I chose the black cod with daikon cream and citrus. The fish was cooked perfectly, beautifully buttery and flaky with the top nicely charred. The daikon cream and citrus sauce however didn’t quite work for me. It’s no doubt that the fish was nicely done
Tiramisu- to me, the chocolate on top of the tiramisu overpowered the tiramisu cream and it turned out to be rather sweet.
Finally, the pot of tea in this lovely tea pot is generous to wrap up the meal
