This place was recommended by boyfriend's friend and something boyfriend wanted to go to. But due to it being so hard to get a table for a large group, he was never able to give it a try. But apparently, there are now more branches! And a whole new location! As the temperature dipped a bit cooler, boyfriend and I went to give it a try.

Prices are according to what time slot you enter at. It's two hours of all you can eat. Everything is in Chinese only but it's a buffet so ... English is not needed.

For $20, you can add on an all you can eat sashimi. I didn't notice anyone do this and thus, we skipped this as well.

The place is pretty big and spacious. We arrived at 6 and it started  to fill up very fast until the place was full with people waiting for a table when we left. So, tip is to arrive early!

Each table has a grill for grilling meat and a hot plate for the chicken hotpot.

They have information on how to eat chicken hot pot for those that do no know. Basically,  choose how spicy your want your chicke. They have no nonspicy option. We chose baby spicy and it was ok for me though it started to get more and more spicy as it cooked down more. The pot of chicken will arrive.  Let it cook with the lid on for 3 minutes. Then lift the lid and give the chicken a good toss around in the pot. Cover it again for a few more minutes and then lift the lid and eat. If you want more chicken, ask for a refill. If you can't eat anymore chicken, get yourself some broth and start on the hot pot session.

They also place the vegetables here along with hot appetizers. I wasn't too keen on the raw items being so close to the cooked items. Even though they were vegetables but ... still felt a bit too close to cross contamination.

The chicken was fantastic. Very tender and moist. The sauce was fragrant. We had baby spicy and it was enough for me to handle. There was also a lot of chicken! They start you off with one whole chicken. Refills came out with the same quality.

The fish skin was huge and very crunchy. It seemed like they just gave one whole piece of skin without chopping it up.

The hot pot soup was not too strong so it didn't cover up too much of the delicious chicken fat.

The chicken was delicious. All the items were good quality. But what impressed me the most? The buffet area was constantly refilled and checked on. I expected it to be filthy as buffet areas usually get when there are various people grabbing food. But not here. I saw kitchen staff constantly keeping an eye on things. Constantly making sure there were not empty areas. The staff also cleared away any empty plates very quickly. Not expensive at all and a very good deal. Will definitely be back!
