I fell in love with its gorgeous interior design the minute I walked in. With a combination of classic Victorian patterns, warm wooden frames and colourful carpets, its interior radiated an air of flamboyance and faded grandeur reminiscent of Italy from the 60s. Their Christmas menu 🎄 was incredible! We went for their 🥩Beef Tenderloin Rossini and it was amazing! The tenderloin was a perfect medium rare, incredibly tender and moist, with a prominent beef flavour (which is quite unusual for tenderloin which tends to be quite lean by nature)😍 The foie gras had a lovely sear along its outer edge and the mushrooms were the perfect side dish! My commonly minor comment would be that the sauce, which I think was some sort of beef and red wine reduction, although delicious was a bit too salty 🙈

Back to their starters, which were extremely generous in terms of portion size. The roasted veal was a beautiful pink colour and still moist and juicy. The capers on top were the perfect addition as well!

The other starter was their burrata along with tomatoes and three kinds of ham, my favourite was definitely the truffle ham!

Finally, their dessert was 🍮Pistachio Creme Brûlée, along with their homemade vanilla ice cream and panettone! They really came through with that pistachio flavour! Though the texture was a bit mushy with sort of a grainy feel, but I did like the slightly crispy bit along the top and bottom edges. It was also my first time having panettone, it had a bread like texture but was buttery and sweet like a cake, loved its spiced flavour and notes of dried fruits as well!

Overall, a great dinner experience and given the food quality, a very reasonably priced menu for Christmas Day! Would love to try their tasting menu and brunch menu next time!
