This is my first time in Fan Ling and also my first time trying Hakka cuisine. And honestly, I was so impressed by the variety and the great quality of the authentic Hakka dishes.This chicken soup with wonton is one of my favourite dishes of the night. This bowl of rice here is also exclusively found in Hakka cuisine, where you pour some fatty oil and soy sauce into the rice, and eat it with any dishes. I had it with the super tender and yummy steamed meat pie and finished the whole bowl in like 2 minutes🤤
Seafood is also something not to be missed in an authentic Hakka meal. These fried prawns here are super fresh and perfectly seasoned. We literally couldn’t stop eating.
These are bitter gourds filled with meat balls soaked in soup. They have an interesting texture and mix of different flavours. A very interesting dish.
