Always wanted to know what the hype is about and the queue happened to be super short the other day, so here I come brown sugar pearl milk. I picked Brown sugar boba milk with cream mousse because that’s their best seller and for the extra creaminess. Didn’t expect the drink to be that small considered it’s $30. Didn’t expect the drink to be that small considered it’s $30. The tiger stripe of brown sugar was extremely photogenic and appetizing. I took quite a few shots as usual and the sugar was still holding up pretty well.
Took my first sip after my ritual and found that the milk was thick and creamy, with very strong dairy flavour. The pearls were slightly bigger than usual, chewy and full of brown sugar aroma. The sweetness was just right for me and I did enjoy the whole thing. Yes call me picky, but the only one complaint would be the large amount of ice added (one-third the amount of the drink) and I finished the whole thing in less than 15 minutes thanks to the small portion.
