Found this interesting American-Japanese handroll place and came here for a dinner. There were only four diners that night so I thought the food might not be so good but actually not bad. They serve in omakase seating and place the food one by one but you can’t expect to receive an omakase style dining experience. .They have quite a lot of classic handrolls and rollie handrolls to choose from. 🥂Uni Fans $98
It’s a big sushi with all my favourite ingredients- uni, minced toro and salmon roe. The taste together was very satisfying and packed with umami.
🥂Minced Toro $58
This is my favourite handroll among the four I had. It’s very fresh and the rich flavour further enhanced by the chopped spring onions.
🥂Uni $88
Can’t expect much at this price. As long as it’s very fresh, buttery and creamy, I’m happy with that.
🥂Scallop $58
Just two thinly sliced scallops on top. Not so special but not bad in taste.
🥂Yellow Fever $78
A very American style of handroll including yellowtail, yellow radish and edamame in wasabi sauce dressing that reminds me of my old days. Definitely still prefer their classic rolls.
Since the place was not busy, the serving speed was quite fast. Although we wanted to seat longer, we felt like they were waiting us to close so we decided to leave sooner. It might not be a good place for a long stay but a quick lunch or dinner.
