The soup was so and so, nothing specially and nothing bad. Served hot, which is always a plus.

Linguine vongole - the clams were small and not much to say about its freshness or sweetness. But the pasta tasted good. It came with more juice than I had expected. That lit up the pasta. Salty but not too salty. That's what I would look for in a linguine vongole.

My dining partner's spaghetti was even better - creamy and rich but not at all overly so. The scallops slices were expectedly all right. You don't expect some big round seared fresh scallops for a $100 pasta, do you?

All in all, I'd give it a 6.5+/7- for food. Service could be a bit more professional. The wait staff was young. They are friendly friendly but not professional and friendly. They could have easily done better when they served the dishes by asking whom that was for instead of just putting it down on an empty spot of a table. Good service could have nudged it to a 7+/7.5-.

P.S. "Amo la pasta" means "I love pasta."

P.P.S. 15% off after 9 pm.
